Beginning Monday, May 8th, eleven legal transient merchants’ permits will be issued to young men who will be going door to door in River Hills selling pest control services. Our ordinances allow for this type of activity as long as the sellers apply for and are granted permits. To comply with Village requirements, they fill out an application, pay a $25 fee and successfully complete a background check by our River Hills Police Department.
