Section 17.02. DIRECTOR OF CIVIL DEFENSE.

(1)       Creation; Appointment.  There is hereby created the position of Director of Civil Defense, which position shall be held by the Director of Civil Defense employed by the “Zone A” Civil Defense Commission, said Commission consisting of representatives of the Village of River Hills, Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, Bayside, Brown Deer, and the City of Glendale.

(2)        Powers and Duties.  The Director of Civil Defense as defined in subsection (1) hereof shall have all of the powers, duties and responsibilities delegated to him by virtue of the “Zone A” Civil Defense Agreement entered into by the Village of River Hills, dated the 1st day of October, 1962.
