Section 17.06 APPROPRIATIONS: GIFTS, GRANTS AND LOANS.

(1)       Civil Defense and Disaster Fund.  The Village Board may appropriate from time to time such monies as may be necessary for the carrying out of the purposes of this chapter.  Such monies may be deposited in a “Civil Defense and Disaster Fund” as the Village Board directs and disbursed in the usual manner for the disbursement of such funds.

(2)        Acceptance of Gift, Grant or Loan.  In the event that the Federal Government or the State of Wisconsin, or any agency or officer thereof, or any person, firm or corporation, shall offer to the Village of River Hills services, equipment, supplies, materials, or funds, by way of gift, grant or loan for the purposes of civil defense and disaster, the Village may accept such offer.
